We with great hope and satisfaction received all the events of the creation of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Local Orthodox Church.
 
The President-Chairman of the Azov Department of the Academy ES&E, Dr. Commerce, Ph.D., senior researcher, academician of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine and the author of the Law of Preservation of Labor Valery Vasiljev, since 1999, has actively raised questions about the discovery one Greek church in Ukraine. On his instructions, the Azov Department of the AES&E established close contacts with the civil Greek societies of Kiev, who advocated the opening of such a church in Kiev. But his struggle seemed doomed ... and no one in those years was supposed to witness the events of December 15, 2018 in Kiev.
You, Pyotr Alekseevich, managed the impossible - to make the FIRST STEPS to the Spiritual independence of the peoples of Ukraine and to the Spiritual Revival of Ukraine.
After the events of December 15, 2018 in Kiev, it becomes possible to continue work on the restoration of the activities of the monastery complex of St. George in Mariupol, continuing after 192 the work of the Locum Tenens of the Ecumenical Patriarch in Crimea, Metropolitan of Gothia and Kafa, St. Ignatius, which is in the city laid the five-wall home for the revival of the most ancient in all of Eastern Europe, St. George Monastery in the PriAzov-Land. It is clear that the letter of the Head of the State Committee for Religious Affairs V. Bondarenko dated January 14, 2005 (No. 6-100 / 21.V-7/1) in the Donetsk region at that time was not possible to properly consider ... (events 2014- 2018 this is confirmed). But he informed the initiator of the restoration of the activity of the monastery complex of St. George in the city of Mariupol, academician of the AES of Ukraine V.A. Vasiljev in 2005 about the work of the Committee on this issue.
Today there is an opportunity and need to take a closer look at this initiative.
