I apologize for the delay in responding to your detailed letter.
I had to analyze all the information that I have on the alleged Jewish cemetery. And I must tell you the following.
First, it is not entirely correct to talk about recycling. It is almost impossible for trucks to drive up where the tombstones are. And these tombstones are located in such a way that it is problematic to assume their transportation over long distances.
Secondly, very close to the supposed cemetery there is a very old, but rather well-preserved building of the Synagogue (today only the basement is used, and the building itself is empty !!). Therefore, the conclusion about the advisability of preserving the remains of this cemetery is more than obvious.
Third, it makes sense to involve the Jewish communities of Kharkov and Ukraine in the consideration of this issue, or it is possible to inform the relevant Jewish organizations in Israel. There, the attitude to the memory of their ancestors is not the same as we have been instilled for decades, and they will find descendants who would like to find the real graves of their relatives.

But all this must be done quickly, because you can wait for all the gravestones to be pulled apart (today they are dragging everything ...) from high-quality stone. Not far from this place there is an almost permanent settlement of people without housing and registration (they live in the remnants of summer cottages in the irrigated fields), and they always need to sell something, so they even try to get to the backup copper cable (when we were guarding a nearby object, we were forced to check " the results of their labors "and even fill up the dug trench). Their "trench", by the way, is not far from the location of the gravestones.
Therefore, it makes sense to hurry up with the solution of this issue.

Прошу прощения за задержку ответа на Ваше обстоятельное письмо.

Пришлось проанализировать всю информацию, которую имею по предполагаемому еврейскому кладбищу. И должен Вам сообщить следующее.

Во-первых - говорить об утилизации не совсем корректно. Туда где находятся надгробья практически невозможно подъехать грузовым машинам. И эти надгробья расположены так, что предположить их перевозку на большие расстояния проблематично.

Во-вторых - очень близко от предполагаемого кладбища находится очень старое, но достаточно хорошо сохранившееся здание Синагоги (сегодня используется только полуподвальное помещение, а само здание пустует!!). Поэтому вывод о целесообразности сохранения остатков этого кладбища более, чем очевиден.

Третье - есть смысл привлечь к рассмотрению этого вопроса еврейские общества Харькова и Украины, а можно проинформировать соответствующие еврейские организации в Израиле. Там к памяти своих пращуров отношение не такое, какое нам прививали десятилетиями, и они найдут потомков, которым хотелось бы найти реальные могилы своих родственников.

Но всё это нужно делать быстро, т.к. можно дождаться что все могильные плиты будут растасканы (сегодня тащат всё ...) из качественного камня. Недалеко от этого места практически постоянное поселение лиц без жилья и прописки (живут в остатках дач  на полях орошения), а им всегда нужно что-то продать, поэтому даже до резервного медного кабеля стараются добраться (мы когда охраняли рядом расположенный объект были вынуждены проверять "результаты их трудов" и даже засыпать выкопанную траншею). Их "траншея", кстати, недалеко от расположения могильных плит.

Поэтому есть смысл поторопиться с решением данного вопроса
